HYUNDAI CONSTRUCTION WINS US$32.5 MLN DEAL IN KUWAIT
SEOUL - Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. (HEC) today said it has won a series of large-scale construction orders both domestically and abroad over the past month, brightening the outlook for its rehabilitation. The contractor, which is jointly run by local creditors, most recently won a US$32.5 million deal to build two power substations in Kuwait on a turnkey basis, company officials said. On March 23, Hyundai won a 36.7 billion-won deal to build a large-scale urban park in eastern Seoul.
