FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Aug 26, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- GlobalNet Corporation (GLBT) (www.gbne.net), a major provider of international telecommunications services, today announced that revenue for the second quarter of 2004 increased 7% over the first quarter 2004. Additionally NASD has restored the Company's trading symbol to GLBT effective Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, following the Company's filing on Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, of its Form 10-QSB for the fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2004.

Second quarter net revenue was $21,778,293, a 24.7% decrease from net revenue of $28,909,246 in the same quarter of 2003. This reflects a 19 % decrease in minutes of usage in our network from 403 million minutes for the three months ended June 30, 2003, to 325 million minutes for the three months ended June 30, 2004.

"We utilized the second quarter to begin restructuring our business model in preparation of the bankruptcy filing on June 30, 2004 of our principal operating subsidiary," said Mark T. Wood, Chairman and CEO of GlobalNet Corporation. "Since the filing, we have benefited from a reduction in rates from our principal vendor and have negotiated favorable arrangements for the use of the cash collateral of the principal creditor of our bankrupt subsidiary. As a result, we expect that overall losses from operations will decrease in the balance of the fiscal year, allowing us to shift our focus to delivering new retail-based services to new markets and customers worldwide."

بالنسبة للشركة سنة 2003 م كانت ايرادات الشركة 102 مليون دولار ، ووصل سعر سهم الشركة في العام الحالي 0.24 والشركة لها 240 فرع - وتم افتتاح آخر فرع للشركة في الهند ، وبالنسبة للشركة فلها عقد داخل الجمهورية الليبية وإذا تم رفع الحظر المفروض على ليبيا سوف تصل اسعار اسهمها الى اسعاراً خيالية
