We are profiling Bitstream Inc. (BITS) at $2.35 as a long-term strong buy.
BITS is a software development company that enables customers worldwide to render text, browse the Web on wireless devices, select from a collection of fonts online, create variable documents dynamically and customize documents over the Internet. Its core competencies include fonts, font technology, browsing technology and publishing technology.
We originally profiled BITS in November at $1.85 and gave a sell alert when it went to $4.03. We believe it is once again a good buying opportunity.
BITS has done a very good job at increasing revenues during the recent quarters while reducing their net loss.
BITS is trading for only 2 times sales which we believe is very low for a company of this type.
BITS has made several runs above $5 during the years before drifting back down to these levels. We believe it is a good buying opportunity here and will soon rise again.
