Dear Trader,
E*TRADE Securities LLC is pleased to announce the launch of our new brokerage web site at www.international.etrade.com which is dedicated to meeting the needs of our non-U.S. resident customers. Beginning February 18, 2005, please go to the new site to access your E*TRADE Securities brokerage account. Please rest assured that there is no change to your account details or log on information.
In conjunction with the site launch, the trading requirement to qualify for Power E*TRADE has been lowered to 15 trades a calendar quarter (previously 27 trades a quarter). So now it is easier to benefit from the Power E*TRADE platforms offering premium products, performance, service and price for Active Traders and Options Traders.
As part of our commitment to our non-U.S. resident customers, we have expanded our services to help you. Please read below about the new changes which will take effect as of February 18, 2005.
New Site – www.international.etrade.com
Our new streamlined site is focused exclusively on our brokerage products and services for non-U.S. residents. It is now easier to navigate around the site and quickly find the information that is relevant to you. In addition, we will be announcing special promotions on the site that are exclusive to our non-U.S. resident customers. With the new site, E*TRADE Securities reaffirms its commitment to provide a high quality brokerage service dedicated to meeting your needs.
Power E*TRADE – Less trades to qualify
Now it only takes a minimum of 15 trades a calendar quarter to be eligible for Power E*TRADE. You will automatically receive $9.99 flat commission on all U.S. stocks and options trades with no account management fees. For options, pay $9.99 plus an additional $1.25 - $1.50 per contract fee. In addition, you receive access to a choice of three advanced trading platforms.
New Commission Bands
With the new lower trading qualification for Power E*TRADE, we announce a change to our commission bands. It now takes fewer trades to qualify for a lower commission. Go to www.international.etrade.com for more details.
Expanded Service
We have expanded our team of relationship managers to assist with your inquiries. Our multilingual team can help you in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian and Spanish (available to clients executing 150+ trades per quarter). In addition, we are launching a series of educational seminars on trading the U.S. markets in Europe, Middle East and Asia. Details will be available on www.international.etrade.com in the coming weeks.

Priority E*TRADE customers pay a flat rate $12.99 commission for all stock and options trades (plus an additional $1.25 per contract over 50 for a single order or $1.50 per contract under 50). For listed securities orders, add $0.015/share to shares over 2,000. To qualify for Priority E*TRADE, customers must maintain a minimum of $50,000 in combined assets in linked E*TRADE Securities accounts. Under the regular commission schedule, E*TRADE Securities stock trade commissions are $19.99 for listed and Nasdaq, market, limit and stop orders. For listed securities orders, add $0.015/share to shares over 2,000. Regular options trade commissions are $19.99 (an additional $1.75 fee per contract will apply for option trades). All customers add $45 for broker-assisted trades. Additional $3.00 handling fee applies for customer trading fewer than an average of 15 times per quarter and holding less than $50,000 in combined assets in linked E*TRADE Securities accounts. You will be exempt from a quarterly $40 account service fee if you meet one of the following qualifications: your account has been opened less than 12 months; you are a qualified Power E*TRADE or Priority E*TRADE customer at the end of the quarter; your E*TRADE Securities account balance is at least $10,000 at the end of the quarter; you execute one or more stock or options trades during the quarter; your account is a Custodial account.
