GPE (Growth to P/E Ratio): GPE is another popular measure of stock valuation. It compares earnings growth rate to P/E ratio. DAL has a GPE rating of -4.95. High growth stocks are believed to be able to justify high P/E ratios. A stock is commonly considered to be undervalued when GPE is greater than 1.00 and overvalued when GPE is below 1.00. Unfortunately, this rule of thumb does not take into account the effect of interest rates on P/E ratios. The operative GPE ratio of 1.00 is valid when and only when interest rates equal 10%. With long-term interest rates currently at 5.33%, the operative GPE ratio is 0.28. Therefore, DAL may be considered to be overvalued.

DIV (Dividend): VectorVest reports annual, regular, cash dividends as indicated by the most recent payments. Special distributions, one-time payments, stock dividends, etc., are not generally included in DIV. DAL does not pay a dividend.

DY (Dividend Yield): DY reflects earnings per share as a percent of Price. DAL does not pay a dividend, so it does not have a Dividend Yield rating. . DY equals 100 x (DIV/Price). It is useful to compare DY with EY. If DY is not significantly lower than EY, the dividend payment may be in jeopardy.

DS (Dividend Safety): DS is an indicator of the assurance that regular cash dividends will be declared and paid at current or at higher rates for the foreseeable future. DAL does not pay a dividend, so it does not have a Dividend Safety rating . Stocks with DS values above 75 typically have RS values well above 1.00 and EY levels that are much higher than DY.

DG (Dividend Growth Rate): Dividend Growth is a subtle yet important indicator of a company's financial performance. It also provides some insight into the board's outlook on the company's ability to increase earnings. DAL does not pay a dividend, so it does not have a Dividend Growth rating .

YSG (YSG-Vector): YSG is an indicator which combines DIV, DY and DG into a single value, and allows direct comparison of all dividend-paying stocks in the database. DAL does not pay a dividend, so it does not have a YSG rating . Stocks with the highest YSG values have the best combinations of Dividend Yield, Safety and Growth. These are the stocks to buy for above average current income and long-term growth.

Open: DAL opened trading at a price of $2.54 per share on 8/3/2005.

High: DAL traded at a High price of $2.55 per share on 8/3/2005.

Low: DAL traded at a Low price of $2.12 per share on 8/3/2005

Close: DAL closed trading at price $2.32 per share on 8/3/2005. (Close is also called Price in the VectorVest system)

Range: Range reflects the difference between the High and Low prices for the day. DAL traded with a range of $0.43 per share on 8/3/2005.

$Change: DAL closed down 0.21 from the prior day's closing Price.

%PRC: DAL's Price changed -8.30% from the prior day's closing price.

Volume: DAL traded 14,112,000 shares on 8/3/2005.

AvgVol: AvgVol is the 50 day moving average of daily volume as computed by VectorVest. DAL has an AvgVol of 5,281,700 shares traded per day.

%Vol: %Vol reflects the percent change in today's trading volume as compared to the AvgVol. %Vol equals ((Volume - AvgVol) / AvgVol ) * 100. DAL had a %Vol of 167.19% on 8/3/2005

Sales: DAL has annual sales of $15,344,000,000

Sales Growth: Sales Growth is the Sales Growth Rate in percent over the last 12 months. DAL has a Sales Growth of 5.00% per year. This is fair. Sales Growth is updated each week for every stock. It is often useful to compare Sales Growth to Earnings Growth to gain an insight into a company's operations.

Sales Per Share (SPS): DAL has annual sales of $107.78 per share. SPS can be used as a measure of valuation when comparing stocks within an Industry Group.

Price to Sales Ratio (P/S): DAL has a P/S of 0.02. This ratio is also used as a measure of valuation. Here, too, it is useful when comparing stocks within an Industry Group.

Shares: DAL has 142,000,000 shares of stock outstanding.

Market Capitalization: DAL has a Market Capitalization of $330,000,000. Market Capitalization is calculated by multiplying price times shares outstanding.

Industry Group: DAL has been assigned to the Transportation (Airlines) Industry Group. VectorVest classifies stocks into over 200 Industry Groups and 40 Business Sectors.

Business Sector: DAL has been assigned to the Transportation Business Sector. VectorVest classifies stocks into over 200 Industry Groups and 40 Business Sectors.

The basic strategy of VectorVest is to buy Low risk, High reward stocks. We suggest that Prudent investors buy enough High Relative Value, High Relative Safety stocks to keep the overall RV and RS ratings of their portfolios above 1.00. As you do this, you'll find that your risk will go down and your investment performance will improve.

بالتوفيق ان شاء الله

Consumer complaints up for some big US airlines
Thu Aug 4, 2005 05:26 PM ET
WASHINGTON, Aug 4 (Reuters) - Three of the four big U.S. airlines in serious financial trouble also are experiencing more consumer complaints, particularly involving mishandled baggage, the government said on Thursday.
US Airways (UAIRQ.OB: Quote, Profile, Research) and United Airlines (UALAQ.OB: Quote, Profile, Research) , both bankrupt, and Delta Air Lines (DAL.N: Quote, Profile, Research) , whose finances have deteriorated sharply and says it may seek court protection, all reported higher complaint rates for the first six months of this year compared to the same period in 2004.

The sharpest increase was at US Airways, which plans to merge with America West Airlines (AWA.N: Quote, Profile, Research) this fall.

The Transportation Department figures show the complaint rate for the seventh-largest carrier jumped from .92 per 100,000 passengers last year to 2.07 from January through June.

Lost or mishandled baggage accounted for about half the complaints at US Airways, followed by flight delays and cancellations and customer service. US Airways ranked 18th of 20 airlines reporting.

Southwest Airlines (LUV.N: Quote, Profile, Research) , which carried nearly twice as many passengers as US Airways, ranked first in the consumer report with a complaint rate of .17, a slight improvement over last year.

United, the No. 2 airline, ranked 13th in the six-month consumer survey while Delta was 15th. Complaints went up compared to the same six-month period last year.

Northwest Airlines (NWAC.O: Quote, Profile, Research) , which has also warned of a potential bankruptcy filing, was ranked 11th. Its consumer complaint rate went down.

No. 1 American Airlines (AMR.N: Quote, Profile, Research) also experienced an increase in complaints and was ranked 14th.

Song Expands Play List with New Service to West Coast and Turns Up the Volume from the Northeast to Florida
Monday August 8, 8:00 am ET
Delta's Low-Fare Air Service to Launch First Nonstop Between Orlando and San Francisco
Frequencies from New York and Boston to Florida Set to Increase

ATLANTA, Aug. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Song®, Delta Air Lines' low- fare air service, continues to add new service for travelers this year with the announcement today of plans to begin its first nonstop service between Orlando and San Francisco and increase frequencies between select Northeast and Florida cities. On Nov. 1, Song will increase the number of daily nonstop flights it offers from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport to Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, West Palm Beach and Tampa and boost daily service from Boston's Logan International Airport to Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando and Fort Myers. It will also add one additional nonstop flight between Ft. Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport. Starting Nov. 4, Song will begin offering nonstop service between Orlando International Airport and San Francisco International Airport.
"Song's service has grown substantially this year in response to increased passenger demand, and we are thrilled to continue this trend, adding new nonstop service between Orlando and San Francisco, as well as an even more robust flight schedule for our customers traveling between the Northeast and Florida," said Joanne Smith, president of Song."

Song's service between Orlando and San Francisco will initially operate three times a week - Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Song plans to increase this service to five days a week on Jan. 30, 2006 with daily service beginning March 1, 2006. Customers can book now for travel between these new routes. Song's enhancements to its New York-to-Florida, Boston-to-Florida and Ft. Lauderdale-to-Los Angeles schedules include:

- JFK to Ft. Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport (FLL) - increases
from 5 to 8 daily roundtrips;
- JFK to Orlando International Airport (MCO) - increases from 5 to 8
daily roundtrips;
- JFK to Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) - increases from 2 to 4
daily roundtrips;
- JFK to Tampa International Airport (TPA) - increases from 3 to 4 daily
roundtrips;
- Logan to Ft. Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport - increases
from 4 to 6 daily roundtrips;
- Logan to Orlando International Airport - increases from 4 to 6 daily
roundtrips;
- Logan to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) - increases from
2 to 3 daily roundtrips;
- FLL to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) - increases from 1 to 2
daily roundtrips.

This new service and increased flight frequencies are the direct result of Song's efforts to reduce its turn times at the gate from 50 minutes to 40 minutes system wide. This enables the low-fare service to increase its aircraft utilization, achieve greater cost savings and maintain low fares for its customers.

Song's expanded service will feature the wide array of on-board amenities that distinguish its brand from all other low-fare air services. Song's in- flight entertainment system (IFE) is the most innovative of any low-fare service, offering personal seatback video monitors that provide: 24 channels of live, DISH Network television free; free digitally-streamed MP3 programming that allows customers to create individual play lists of up to 32 songs at their seat (from an inventory of more than 1,600 songs); 10 movies available on-demand, allowing customers to start and stop the film at their leisure; a suite of 11 video games; and a popular interactive trivia game that allows passengers to compete against one another.

Song offers a comprehensive onboard menu, featuring healthful, organic selections, as well as a few indulgences. Dave Lieberman, star of the new Food Network show "Good Deal with Dave Lieberman" and author of Hyperion Books' YOUNG & HUNGRY: More than 100 Recipes for Cooking Fresh and Affordable Food for Everyone, is Song's newest executive food consultant. Lieberman created delicious new selections available on Song's May-through-November menus.

Song also recently announced an exclusive partnership with nightlife entrepreneur Rande Gerber to launch a newly-branded in-flight beverage service, including signature cocktails and martinis created by Gerber. The new service will be unveiled on all Song flights in late summer.
