Marshall Holdings Reviews NOBO List, Requests Major Shareholders' Support

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Marshall Holdings International, Inc. (OTCBB:MHII - News) would like to request that major shareholders request physical delivery of their stock in stock certificate form from their respected broker dealers.

“After further review of our NOBO list which was ordered in February we have been made aware of potential major naked short positions in our company stock," said Rick Bailey, President.
When naked short selling occurs an individual agrees to sell a stock that they neither own nor have borrowed. Subsequently, the failure to deliver creates what are called “phantom shares” in the market which may dilute the price of the underlying stock.
“This has become an ongoing problem in the micro-cap market and something we are intending to battle; we have experienced tremendous growth in our core business and believe our revenues reflect that. In an effort to restore shareholder value we need to take steps to address the possible issue of naked short selling that’s depressing our stock value," further stated Rick Bailey.
Major shareholders requesting to receive their legal ownership in the company through physical delivery from their financial institutions could help our efforts in eliminating the naked short selling problem and restoring shareholder value.
Nevada law NRS 78.233 mandates that each shareholder has the right to request and receive certificates of ownership from the company for their stock; specifically, the statute states “every stockholder is entitled to have a certificate, signed by officers or agents designated by the corporation for the purpose, certifying the number of shares owned by him in the corporation.”
