1. MORNING OUTLOOK

U.S. stock market indexes posted losses as McDonald's, Wendy's and
other beef-related stocks tumbled amid investor jitters over the
surfacing of mad-cow disease in Washington state. The Dow Jones
Industrial Average lost 36.07 points, or 0.35 percent, to
10,305.19. The Nasdaq Composite lost 5.55 points, or 0.28 percent,
to 1,969.23 while the Nasdaq 100 Index lost 4.98 points, or 0.35
percent, to 1443.19. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index lost 0.18
percent while the Russell 2000 Index of small-capitalization
stocks lost 0.49 percent. Volume amounted to .51 billion on the
NYSE and .64 billion on the Nasdaq Stock Market. Market breadth
was mixed, with Advancers were leading Decliners by 1613 to 1494
on the NYSE. Nasdaq's Decliners were leading Advancers by 1612 to
1373.

Dow lost 36 points to close at 10305. Dow is trading with positive
momentum above 50 and 200-Day MA. Dow is holding its key support
level (10300) near the top end of its trading channel and trading
above 10350 could further strengthen in the short-term. Trading
below 10275 area could attract sellers. DOW is trading with
positive momentum. DOW's resistance levels are: 10433, 10567,
10732. DOW's support levels are: 10175, 10047, 9932. Nasdaq lost
5.5 points to close at 1969. Nasdaq is trading with positive
momentum above 50 and 200-Day MA. Nasdaq appears to be gaininig
some momentum and could trade higher in the next few sessions.
NASDAQ is trading with positive momentum. NASDAQ's resistance
levels are: 1992, 2020, 2031. NASDAQ's support levels are: 1951,
1928, 1916. Friday's trading could be cautious and choppy.
