NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- American Standard Companies (ASD) said its three-for-one split takes effect on Friday. Shares closing at $111.83 on Thursday will be indicated at $37.28 on Friday. The stock split entitled all shareowners of record on May 18 to receive two additional shares of American Standard common stock for each share held on that date. Shares rose 30 cents to $111.83 on Thursday.
