Company Hopes to Build on Early Successes in Chinese Market
NEWBURY PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 9, 2005--Electronic Sensor Technology, Inc. (OTCBB: ESNR - News), a leading provider of innovative Homeland Security solutions, announced today that it has appointed Beijing R&D Technology, based in China, as its exclusive distributor for zNose® in the country. Under the agreement, Beijing R&D will be required to meet minimum annual purchase commitments in order to maintain exclusivity. The zNose® is an electronic sensor device that can capture and analyze nearly any odor, fragrance, or chemical vapor within ten seconds. Beijing R&D has already placed five orders for the product for environmental and homeland security applications.
