For Q3, the co. projects EPS of $0.43 vs. the $0.41 consensus, on revs of $2.5-2.6 bln vs. the $2.32 bln consensus. For FY06, the co. expects EPS of $1.70 vs. the $1.65 consensus, on revs of $9.9 bln vs. the $9.33 bln consensus.

Xyratex reported $0.28 in Q1 EPS. The result excludes non-recurring items and surpassed analysts' estimate by three cents. Revenues rose 33.7% year/year to $190.5 mln vs. the $173.3 mln consensus. For Q2, the co. foresees EPS of $0.83-0.93, ex-items, vs. the $0.56 consensus, on revs of $268-283 mln vs. the $218.43 mln consensus.

Alberto-Culver plans to report its Q2 and six month results for the period ended March 31, 2006, on April 27, 2006. Management expects to announce record Q2 and year-to-date sales and earnings results. Based upon results to date for the quarter, ACV anticipates that its consumer products group will post good sales and earnings growth led by the retail launch of Nexxus. The co. said that results to date show continued and consistent growth at Sally Beauty Supply stores, and that its Beauty Systems Group is on track to have a much improved 2006 profit performance.
