(NOK) announced Thursday morning that due to strong subscriber growth, it now expects a 15% or more global increase in mobile device market volume in 2006, from its estimate of 795 million units in 2005. Prior guidance had been for 10% growth or more. Nokia is now trading higher by 0.78 on 280K shares on Inet.

3/30/2006 8:20:50 AM Patterson-UTI Energy (PTEN) reported fourth quarter EPS of $0.77 Thursday morning, compared to the $0.20 reported last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.73. Revenues increased to $531 million, from the $288 million reported last year. The Board of Directors also approved an increased in the company's stock buyback program, authorizing future purchases of up to $200 million of its common stock. The stock is now trading higher by 1.85 on 15K shares Thursday morning on Inet.
