Candela Laser Corp. (CLZR) formed a scientific advisory board and named Eric F. Bernstein chairman of the newly established group.
The medical-laser technology company said Friday Bernstein relinquished his role as director on Monday.
Candela, of Wayland, Mass., said the scientific advisory board will bring additional oversight and further streamline the company's clinical research processes.
Candela has about 30 clinical studies underway.
