After having won a number of contract extensions recently, our DGS team has also won a contract from the US Air Force in Spain. The contract was awarded to the joint venture between Agility DGS and First Support Services, Inc. – Spain Agility First Support, LLC (Spain AFS) for the support of day-to-day base operations and maintenance services at Moron and Zaragoza Air bases in Spain.



This is the press release that was distributed yesterday to announce the win.



Agility Part of Winning Team for US Air Force Base Maintenance Contract in Spain



Landmark contract illustrates range, depth and agility of capabilities for Moron and Zaragoza Air Bases



Alexandria, VA – 7 July, 2007 - Agility Defense & Government Services (DGS) along with First Support Services, Inc. (FSSI) today announced that their joint venture, Spain Agility First Support, LLC (Spain AFS) has been awarded a two-year, contract for Spain Base Maintenance by the United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE). The potential value of the contract is € 43,642,435.



Spain AFS will support day-to-day base operations and maintenance services at Morón and Zaragoza Air Bases in Spain. Specific services include Communications & Postal Services, Safety, Occupational Health & Ambulance Services, Civil Engineering, Services (consisting of Food Services, Lodging, Library, Fitness Center Equipment Maintenance, & Life Guard/Pool Services), and Logistics Support Services. In addition, Spain AFS will support all contingencies and exercises.



“This award demonstrates our wide range of operational capabilities and overseas experience and strength,” said Maj. Gen. Dan Mongeon, USA (Ret), President of Agility DGS-US. “Our partnership with First Support Services sends a clear message to our Air Force partners that as a team, we will achieve new levels of operational efficiency. We feel strongly that we have the right team for this mission and winning this important contract validates it.”



This award follows other recent Agility contract wins including the $2.8 Billion Subsistence Prime Vendor, two contracts for the U.S. Navy contingency services and most recently the US Army’s Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) IV.



“USAFE’s ongoing transformation is a landmark effort with tremendous, historical implications for shaping our air forces,” added Mongeon. “Spain AFS is honored to be an invited participant.”

أكون صريح معاك بومشعل أجيليتي متقدمة على أكثر من ممارسة وعقد مع الجيش ووزارة الدفاع الأمريكية وجهات غير عسكرية في أكثر من دولة وحتى الآن ما عندي أي تأكيد على حصولها على أي عقد اليوم

و عقد 2.8 بليون هذا صار له أكثر من شهر وتم الإعلان رسميا عنه في البورصة

الظاهر في لبس بالموضوع .. عقد 2.8 بليون إلي تم الإعلان عنه الشهر الماضي كان التمديد للمرحلة الثانية من العقد لمدة سنة وهو مختص بعقد المورد الرئيسي للغذاء للجيش الأمريكي في المنطقة الأولى والمقصود بالمنطقة الأولى هي الكويت العراق و الأردن

أما عقد 43 مليون يورو فهو جزء من عقد ثاني مختص بصيانة وإمداد القوات الجوية الأمريكية في العالم كانت أجيليتي جزء من تحالف فاز به بتاريخ 11/2005 إن لم تخني الذاكرة قيمة العقد الإجمالية تصل لي 10 بليون دولار ممتده لمدة 10 سنوات .. وتم الإعلان عن هذا العقد أمس في البورصة

"أجيليتي" الكويتية تفوز بعقد من القوات الجوية الأمريكية في إسبانيا

قالت كل من شركة أجيليتي للخدمات الحكومية والدفاع الكويتية، وشركة فيرست سباين سرفيسز، إن شركة (Spain AFS) فازت بعقد صيانة قاعدة إسبانيا التابعة للقوات الجوية الأمريكية في أوروبا لمدة عامين، بقيمة متوقعة 43.6 مليون يورو تقريبا.

وتمثل الشركة الفائزة نتاجا لشراكة بين شركة أجيليتي للخدمات الحكومية والدفاع وشركة فيرست سباين سيرفسز، حسبما ذكر بيان نشرته صحيفة "الوطن" الكويتية اليوم السبت 7-7-2007.


وأضاف البيان أن شركة "Spain AFS" ستقوم بموجب هذا العقد بدعم العمليات اليومية وأعمال الصيانة بقاعدة "Morn and Zaragoza " الجوية بإسبانيا حيث تتضمن أعمال الصيانة لوسائل الاتصال والبريد وخدمات السلامة وخدمات الصحة والإسعاف والهندسة المدنية وخدمات أخرى، منها الخدمات الغذائية وصيانة المساكن ومكتبة الإطلاع بالإضافة إلى صيانة معدات المعهد الصحي والمسبح ودعم عمليات الطوارئ.

وأوضح رئيس أجيليتي للخدمات الحكومية والدفاع بالولايات المتحدة الجنرال دان مونجيون أن الفوز بمثل هذا العقد يبرهن على قدرة أجيليتي وخبرتها في العمل على مثل هذه العقود الدولية التي لها متطلباتها الخاصة.

جدير بالذكر أن أجيليتي فازت بعدد من العقود اللوجيستية التابعة للجيش الأمريكي منها تجديد عقد Prime Vendor بقيمة 2.8 مليار دولار بالإضافة إلى عقد المقاولات العالمي ومؤخرا عقد التوسع المدني التابع للجيش الأمريكي.

على جانب آخر نقلت صحيفة "الوطن" الكويتية عن مصادر لم تسمها أن شركة أجيليتي سابقا تلقت خطابا من إحدى الشركات الاستثمارية في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية تبدي فيه رغبتها في الاستثمار المشترك مع شركة أجيليتي.

وقالت المصادر إن الشركة الأمريكية بادرت بالاتصال بشركة أجيليتي بعد تأكد فوز أجيليتي ضمن كونسورتيوم عالمي بعقد قيمة 50 مليار دولار.
