LUME Lumenis audit committee to conduct independent investigation (2.46 +1.19) -- Update --
Announces that the Audit Committee of its board of directors has initiated an independent investigation into the relationship with one of its distributors and related accounting and disclosures, in connection with the continuing SEC investigation and at the request of its independent auditors Deloitte & Touche Brightman Almagor. The Audit Committee will seek to complete its review prior to the time for the filing of the co's Q3 report for 2003 on Form 10-Q. Filing of its Form 10-Q for Q3 could be delayed pending completion of the investigation and the review of the findings by its auditors.
