Bader M. Al Sa'ad was appointed on the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Investment Authority "(KIA)" on December 1st, 2003. Effective December 10th, 2003, Mr. Al Sa'ad was appointed as the Managing Director of KIA (the Chief Executive Officer). He is also the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of KIA.

Mr. Bader M. Al Sa'ad has extensive experience in investments and financial sector for the past thirty years. Previous to his appointment as the Managing Director of KIA, Mr. Al Sa'ad was the Managing Director of one of the leading investment company in Kuwait, The Kuwait Financial Center (“Markaz”). He also has extensive experience in various positions at the Bank of Kuwait and the Middle East ("BKME").

Mr. Bader M. Al Sa'ad has been a member of various Boards of Directors encompassing numerous domestic and international companies, financial institutions and banks. He has also been the Chairman as well as member of various professional organizations and committees. Mr. B. Al Sa'ad is a member of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.

Mr. Al Sa'ad is a graduate of Kuwait University with a major in Accounting.

Mr. Bader Mohammad Al-Saad is the Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, and Director of Kuwait Investment Authority. He served as General Manager, Managing Director and Director of Kuwait Financial Centre S.A.K.C. He served as the Managing Director of The Kuwait Financial Centre (“Markaz”). Mr. Al-Sa'ad also has extensive experience in various positions at the Bank of Kuwait and the Middle East (“BKME”) as well as at the National Bank of Kuwait. He serves as a Member of International Advisory Board at Russian Direct Investment Fund. Mr. AL-Saad has been a member of various Boards of Directors encompassing numerous domestic and international companies, financial institutions and banks. He has also been the Chairman as well as member of various professional organizations and committees. He served as a Director of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation. Mr. Al-Sa'ad has extensive experience in investments and financial sector for the past 30 years. Mr. Al-Saad is a graduate of Kuwait University with a major in Accounting and Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering, Miami University, USA, 1978.​
