iBEAM Broadcasting Receives Delisting Letter From Nasdaq

SUNNYVALE, Calif. (Dow Jones)--IBeam Broadcasting Corp.'s (IBEMQ, news, msgs) stock will be delisted from the Nasdaq Stock Market at the open of business Thursday because of it bankruptcy filing and associated public-interest concerns.
In a press release Tuesday, the streaming-media provider said it won't appeal the delisting.
On Oct. 11, Nasdaq halted trading of IBeam shares at 29 cents after the company filed for Chapter 11 protection.
Earlier this month, a bankruptcy court approved the sale of substantially all IBeam assets to Williams Comnunications LLC (WCG, news, msgs) for $25 million.
