The zBoost YX510 dual band cellular repeater is compatible with all cellular network carriers except for Nextel. The zBoost dual band Cell Repeater works with all major US networks except Nextel. Unlike single band repeaters, with the YX510 there is no need to check which frequency your network uses - the product is guaranteed to work with your frequency straight out the box.
The YX510 will improve signal for up to 15 simultaneous users, and will improve reception for both voice calls and broadband data downloads.
The coverage area of the system depends highly on the signal strength outside your building. This is where the external antenna is installed. With 5 bars of signal outside, you should be able to improve signal over approximately 2,500 square feet of open space. Any walls inside the building will attenuate the signal and reduce the coverage area. If you have 2 bars or less of signal, the normal YX510 kit will have little or no coverage area. In these situations we highly recommend using a YX-510 Premium Kit
